The June Workshop was a success. We had about 75 people learning the latest in food safety. A big thank you goes to our panel of experts and the many speakers we had. Our panel answered many questions from the attendees. We also heard about what DATCP is training on including produce. Additional topics included whole genome sequencing, insurance we need to know about in food plants and working with risk management, outbreak and recall investigation strategies, and how to rebuild after a recall. We are already looking forward to the Nov. meeting!
