The Wisconsin Association of Food Protection’s 2018 Travel award is being given this year to Sarah Engstrom enabling her to attend the International Association of Food Protection conference in July. She received the 2018 Student Travel Award recognition at the Annual Food Research Institute’s May meeting. Her research is investigating the foodborne bacterium Listeria monocytogenes in high-moisture, low-acid cheeses.
